Goalscorers: Evan Kelly (2), Colin Sunderland, Ciarmhac Smyth
Report: Another great win for the lads in really tough conditions. Excellent goals from Evan Kelly (2), Colin Sunderland and Ciarmhac Smyth were more than enough on the day. The first goal came on 18 mins when Keith Cleary put Evan away on the right and a neat cross found Colin Sunderland he bundled it into the net at close range. The second on 20 mins was started after an excellent turn and shot from Evan that was parried by the keeper. Keith picked up the ball wide on the right and played a lofted ball to the back post where Evan headed in. After the break Ciarmhac Smyth marched through the defense from midfield and slotted low into the corner and the fourth was a penalty scored by Evan after Oisin Shanahan did some great work on the right wing before he was fouled in the box. A superb midfield performance ensured we dominated procession throughout the game with Keith Cleary, Darragh MacCarthy and Ciarmhac Smyth (Man of the Match) controlling the game. On the wings Neil Fitzgerald and Evan caused loads of problems and this continued in the second half when Conan Hickey, Oisin Shanahan, James O'Sullivan and Cian Murray took the field. At the back Conor Clarke made some excellent passes to start the right wing attacks and Josh Mulcahy, Phelim Magan and Ben Lowen were rock solid in defence. Another clean sheet for Jason Gray in goals capped a great team performance.
