Ronaldo scored his first goal for Midleton, to get a well deserved point against tough opponents Douglas Hall. We went a goal down after 17 mins, and were not playing well at that stage. However, as the half progressed, we got stronger. The second half saw us lose players to injury. However, we got better as the game progressed. There were a few chances on both ends, but overall , a draw was a fair result.
These are two teams who have fought close battles for years, and both will be towards the top end of the division this season. Every player did their bit in the second half, so it would not be fair to pick out any for special mention. So well done
