Under 13A 2014/15 Division 4 Match Reports

League at home to Richmond on Saturday 25th October 2014
Midelton 1 Richmond 1

Midleton under 13A, following a terrific season last year which saw them promoted to division 4, have settled nicely into the higher flight in 2014. On a sunny Saturday morning late October, Midleton played against Richmond in an entertaining game which Midleton were unlucky not to win. Midleton dominated for the most part but fell behind after about 25mins to a well worked goal for Richmond. While Midleton fought hard for an equaliser, Richmond were a constant threat on the break with some very fast and co-ordinated attacking play. Midleton goalkeeper Adam showed great agility in pulling off some vital saves. Midleton got the equaliser in the second half. A probing pass from Rory in right midfield found Sam who slotted through to Hamed who then lobbed the keeper. Sam and Daniel O'D stood out in this game with Daniel (man of the match) really covering the ground and getting 1st to the ball.
